My first blog: Visual Kei

Hey guys, Kai here. So, I wanted to let you know about Visual Kei, if you didn't know already. Visual Kei is a movement among Japanese (rock) musicians that involves various levels of makeup, flamboyant (flashy) costumes, and wild hairstyles. There are many genres and sub genres of Visual Kei. Genres include: rock, glam rock, Gothic metal, Heavy metal, and symphonic/Neo classical. Sub genres include Oshare Kei, Eroguro Nansensu Kei, Nagoya, Kote, Shibuya, Angura, and more.

Oshare Kei (Oshare means "fashionable")

I listen to a lot of visual kei bands. Some of those bands are DadaRoma, Deviloof, Nocturnal Bloodlust, The GazettE, Unsraw, KIZU, Girugamesh, and Dir En Grey.
I have put pictures in order I have listed the bands.

That's their pictures. Sorry for The GazettE being all weird and out of place. Anyway, there are lots of visual kei bands to choose from and try, and you can listen to the ones I will recommend at the end. I prefer Visual Kei because the songs have more meaning, thought, and make you think really deep. I find that hard to find in American bands, but maybe I'm just not looking in the right spot? So, just as I am about to recommend music to you, you can recommend to me. Again, I am terribly sorry if this is horrible, it is my first blog... so it's kind of a "whatever" blog for me. Maybe later I'll come up with something better XD. Again, recommended songs are in order of list.
